My special child Adeel has completed nearly six years with Imran Rehabilitation Center. The IRC has regularly encouraged its special children in a variety of activities including Special Olympics. These activities have been a source of physical and mental exercise as well as an effective means of entertainment. On account of our professional responsibilities I seldom get a chance to take my kids for outing. I offer my sincere appreciate to IRC who enable my son go out to different events in the city. I wish to pay special tribute to the teachers and the entire supporting staff of IRC whose services provide us enough relief to accomplish our domestic and professional assignments.
Being associated to the profession of teaching, I can realize how challenging it is to make special children, particularly the mentally privileged ones, learn and Adeel Akram's father do better. IRC, I can confidently claim, is one of the highly devoted institutions in Karachi that makes all out efforts to improve and develop special children not only by teaching various learning techniques but also by providing them frequent opportunities of physical exercise which is very important for the growth of these blessed kids. My special gratitude to Mrs. Zarina Fazal for her disciplined and sound administration aimed at serving the cause of special children. Our relation with Imran Rehabilitation Centre has been established since 2009, when my brother Nazir was enrolled. IRC is one of those self-esteemed and dignified centres which have made its position in a very short span of time and within limited resources. The tremendous efforts of Mrs. Mansoor and Mrs. Zarina Fazal along with their trained and qualified staff. is remarkable. They had put a lot of effort in building up a sense of self-confidence in my brother and gradually stabilizer him as a vocational trainee.

My son Aliyan was enrolled in IRC around 2.5years back. Aliyan Improved a lot since he has been going to IRC. He was wheelchair bound, unable to sit and stand. Now his condition much more better as compared to past. "Ma Sha Allah" he is walking independently and his concentration span is also improving, he start to understand and recognize every thing.

My daughter Hafsa is in IRC since six years. I was very upset with her condition, as she was delayed milestone. Then I came to know about the Imran Rehabilitation Centre and got the admission. Before admission she had poor responses, less concentration span and was unable to sit and stand. Her physical condition has improved as she has started sitting independently and able to stand with minimal support. Her attention and responses are also getting better. Now I am very satisfied with her condition.

It gives me immense pleasure to write the views of my visit at the Imran Rehabilitation Centre, Karachi is the big city with a population of almost twenty million people and a considerable number of physically and mentally challenged children and adult cerebral Palsy.
Imran Rehabilitation Centre is providing excellent services for the children with cerebral palsy C.P. The centre is very well organized with various sections working in coherence and has efficient and dedicated physiotherapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and special educator. They are putting their best efforts In the long-term management of these children. Orthotics visits regularly to take care of this important aspect. Consultation by pediatrician, neurophysician and orthopedic surgeon is arranged by the management to get expert opinion for betterment of the CP children.
Imran Rehabilitation centre is one of more comprehensive centers in Karachi for rehabilitation of CP children. When I visited IRC, I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and mode of theraples available for the children. Most impressive aspect was the involvement of the parents with the children which is Important in the rehabilitation of CP children. My name is MARIAN VELTHUIJS. I am a PUM NETHERLANDS SENIOR EXPERT in Occupational Therapy, working already for 40 years with disabled children. I am working in this field in the Netherland and in many other countries and have been teaching a lot.
My specialsations are children Neurorehabilitation and handling the children with Cerebral palsy. Imran Rehabilitation Centre has invited me to come and share my knowledge with the Therapist and Educators of the centre, so this will be done by teaching in the form of presentations, workshop and on the job training. This way we get the most out of it for the children and parents. Zarina Fazal for giving me an opportunity to spend quality time with Imran Rehabilitation Center ( IRC ) - during my visit in 2011 as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of University of Karachi IRC is a family of loving and caring staff members and very enthusiastic mentally challenged children who I saw taking lot of interest in learning different skills. The management of IRC headed by a very dynamic Administrator Mrs. Zarina Fazal and her dedicated team of teachers and healers who are deeply involved in rehabilitation activities to help the physically and mentally challenged children and adults who are in need of physical, occupational, speech therapy and special education. IRC is a very comprehensive rehabilitation center with state of the art facilities, highly qualified and skilled professional staff consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapy, orthotics, psychologists and speech therapists. Moreover, consultation by pediatrician, neuro-physician and orthopedic surgeon is also arranged by the management to get expert opinion for Better treatment options
